Hurricane Polo Hits Mexican Beaches

A Category‑3 storm named Polo is heading straight for the Pacific coast of Mexico, pencilling in Baja California Sur for a hard hit by Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

The squall can send wind speeds up to 115 mph (185 km/h) and bring massive waves that could surge high into the shore. Heavy rains will pile up quick‑forming mudslides, especially in the steep hills around Los Cabos.
