The US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) has released a warning for consumers after discovering that some cans of Celsius energy drinks were inadvertently filled with vodka. This mistake involved the Astro Vibe Blue Razz flavor, after a packaging company accidentally sent empty cans to High Noon, a vodka seltzer brand.

To ensure safety, High Noon is also recalling its Beach Variety packs that were produced in conjunction with the faulty cans. Fortunately, there have been no reports of illnesses or adverse reactions related to the affected products.

The recall affects two production lots, which are detailed on the USFDA's official website. The items were distributed to retailers across Florida, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin from July 21 to July 23. For clarity, the specific codes to watch for include the UPC for Celsius cans (8 89392 00134 1) and the lot codes (L CCB 02JL25).

The USFDA advised consumers to safely dispose of the affected Celsius cans and refrain from consuming them. However, High Noon packs with different lot codes are confirmed as safe to drink. Stay alert and double-check your products!
