The woman suspected of carrying out a parcel bombing in Monaco was found dead in Ukraine, Ukraine's security service (SBU) said.\
The 39‑year‑old Anastasiia Berezovska was believed to have fled Monaco after placing a bomb in an apartment building’s entrance hall on 29 June. The blast injured a sanctioned Ukrainian multimillionaire and his family.
\While the police pursued her across borders, her body was discovered in Ukraine with clear gunshot wounds to the head. Officials report that the suspect was killed during the chase.
\Investigators detained two men in connection with the killing, one of whom is a current officer in Ukraine’s ministry of defence. Both are under investigation for murder.
