High‑speed pursuit rattles Queensland
A police pursuit in Queensland’s Ipswich region spiraled into a high‑speed chase on major highways. Officers pursued a vehicle that skirted the speed limit, eventually stopping it in a controlled fashion. Two suspects were detained at the scene and are now held on charges of reckless driving and evading police.

By early evening the vehicle was cornered on a dual‑carriageway, allowing officers to deploy a Good‑by‑law roll‑up and secure the scene. After a brief interview, both men were processed and transferred to the Brisbane police station.
