A parcel bomb exploded in the entrance hall of a Monaco apartment on 29 June, injuring a Ukrainian family. Ukrainian security forces chased suspect Anastasiia Berezovska across borders.

The SBU says her body was found buried in a forest near Kyiv, marked by fatal gun‑shot wounds. Two men – a former law‑officer and a current intelligence officer – were arrested and charged with her murder. Their investigation uncovered a basement that “referred to as a torture chamber” at one suspect’s home.

Interpol issued a red notice worldwide, calling Berezovska a fugitive for attempted murder. Ukrainian and Monaco officials are collaborating closely, sharing evidence to prosecute the case.

The attack targeted a sanctioned Ukrainian real‑estate developer, adding new tensions to cross‑border security. Authorities are still searching for other suspects linked to the bombing.
