Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G have been announced as the headliners of next year's Coachella festival.

This will be the first time any of the three artists headlined the event, which takes place in the Californian desert before an audience of about 250,000 fans.

Other performers on the lineup include Teddy Swims, Katseye, Central Cee, and CMAT.

Coachella, held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio since 2002, spans two weekends, with Sabrina taking the stage first on the Friday, followed by Bieber and Karol G on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Many UK artists will be present, including Disclosure, Wet Leg, Lambrini Girls, Little Simz, and FKA Twigs. Although tickets aren't available yet, fans can register for passes.

As one of the most high-profile music festivals globally, Coachella is renowned for its star-studded atmosphere, drawing celebrities like Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner in previous years. Last year also featured a stellar lineup with Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Travis Scott, Post Malone, and Green Day.

Notably, the festival faced complaints last year regarding a new camping reservation system that led to long traffic delays.
