The House Oversight Committee has released a batch of around 70 photos from the estate of late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
It’s the third such release from a tranche of over 95,000 photos the committee has acquired from Epstein's estate. It includes images of quotes from the book *Lolita* written across a woman's body, and redacted images of women's foreign passports.
This comes hours before the 19 December deadline for the Department of Justice to release all files related to its investigation into Epstein.
Robert Garcia, ranking member of the committee, highlighted that these images raise more questions about what the DOJ possesses.
Some photos show Epstein interacting with notable figures like Noam Chomsky, Bill Gates, and other prominent individuals, previously linked to Epstein in earlier releases.
The new images do not imply wrongdoing; many individuals in the photos have denied involvement in any illegal activities connected to Epstein.
In a statement, the committee confirmed that the photographs lack context, but were meant to provide transparency about Epstein's troubling connections and activities.
The release also features unsettling quotes from *Lolita*, a novel about the grooming of a young girl, written on women’s bodies, highlighting Epstein's disturbing preferences.
A notable image also includes a screenshot of text messages discussing the availability of "some girls" for a specified amount, raising more alarm over Epstein's actions.
The committee's investigation into the Epstein estate is ongoing, and with the deadline for the DOJ's file release looming, many anticipate further revelations in the coming days.
