Latroya Grayson has taken legal action against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Bad Boy Entertainment, and others, alleging she was assaulted after winning tickets to a 2006 ‘Black Party’ in New York. The lawsuit, filed in the Southern District of New York by attorney Ariel Mitchell, states that Grayson, who was 23 at the time, traveled to the city believing she would attend a fun event sponsored by Atlantic Records, led by former employee Mike Savas.
Grayson describes her experience at the party, where she claims she ingested drinks that made her feel sick, ultimately resulting in her waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there. This shocking recollection has left Grayson believing she was drugged, assaulted, and robbed during Diddy’s party. Alongside her complaint, she also received an intimidating phone call shortly after her ordeal, warning her against pursuing legal action against Combs.
The complaint outlines alleged racketeering activities among the defendants, suggesting that they facilitated Combs’ purported wrongdoings. Mike Savas, who now runs a successful business connecting fans with celebrities, is also named in the suit. His international travel exploits might complicate his legal proceedings.
Overall, this case raises serious questions about accountability and safety at celebrity events.
