Brad Pitt's Los Angeles home was targeted by a trio of thieves in a late-night burglary on Wednesday. The Los Feliz property, reportedly belonging to the Oscar-winning actor, was broken into around 10:30 PM local time through a front window. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed they are investigating the incident but did not officially name Pitt as the owner.
It is believed the suspects made off with various stolen items, but the exact details of what was taken remain undisclosed. At the time of the break-in, Pitt was overseas attending the London premiere of his new film "F1." He was seen with fellow stars Tom Cruise and Lewis Hamilton, who has celebrated his achievements in the world of Formula One racing.
The actor's house, which features three bedrooms and is surrounded by a high fence and greenery for privacy, adds to a worrying trend of celebrity homes being targeted in the area. Recently, other stars such as Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have faced similar intrusions. Last month, a man was arrested for stalking and vandalism after crashing into the gate of Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston’s home. The LAPD continues to investigate this case and urges anyone with information to step forward.
