The US Army has launched a review after musician Kid Rock shared a video showing two military helicopters hovering outside his Tennessee home. The Army said the AH-64 Apaches were conducting a training route near Nashville, where the country rock artist's hilltop estate is located.
An administrative review is underway to assess the mission and verify compliance with regulations and airspace requirements, Army spokesman Maj Montrell Russell stated. Appropriate action will be taken if any violations are found.
Kid Rock, a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, posted the footage on social media of himself gesturing to the aircraft from his outdoor pool while expressing sentiments about America.
One clip features Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, saluting as the helicopters pass by, with a caption expressing gratitude for those who have served the country. Another video showcased his excitement as a second helicopter flew overhead, reinforcing his patriotic message. Maj Jonathon Bless from the 101st Airborne Division shared that the Army takes such concerns seriously and is committed to ensuring safe aircraft operations.
