Sevastopol, Crimea’s largest city, lost power overnight after Ukrainian drones hit the main power substation.
Moscow‑installed governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said the outage could last until Wednesday evening, and residents were urged to conserve battery and check on elderly neighbours.
The strike is part of Kyiv’s broader strategy to hit Russian‑controlled energy sites, hoping to cripple oil revenue and push Putin to talks.
Meanwhile, Russian authorities have reported shooting down more than 300 Ukrainian drones and are tightening fuel sales in Crimea after a related attack on a gas station.
