Dual national arrested over RAF Fairford incident released on bail

A 25‑year‑old man of UK‑Iranian dual nationality was detained in Westminster on Thursday on suspicion of preparing terror attacks linked to events at RAF Fairford.

Police searched two homes nearby and have now closed the operation. The man was freed on bail, and five other young men from London were similarly released.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities review footage of three suspicious vehicles spotted near the Gloucestershire airbase last weekend, which triggered a major incident declaration and forced several houses to evacuate.
