Kenya marks its first confirmed Ebola case with the sad death of a Kenyan citizen who had been living in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The patient fell ill a month ago in DRC, was treated in several hospitals, and returned to Nairobi where he died after arrival.
Health Minister Aden Duale said the man was screened at Nairobi's main airport, then transferred to a city hospital, where tests detected the Bundibugyo strain.
DR Congo has already seen over 4,000 deaths this year, making it the second deadliest Ebola outbreak on record.
