After spending two days in Washington DC, they will travel to New York, Virginia, and Bermuda before returning to the UK. The Foreign Office stated the trip will commemorate the 250th anniversary of US independence, highlighting a partnership of 'shared prosperity, security, and history.' In the interview, Trump also mentioned his view on Starmer's stance regarding the war in Iran, and expressed dissatisfaction with the UK's support during the conflict.
